Galway Bay Cycling Club

How to Join

Cycling within a group is a great way to get fit and meet new people while learning valuable bike handling skills. New members of Galway Bay Cycling Club are always welcome and membership is open throughout the year. Non-members are encouraged to take part in up to 3 club spins, after which they will need to take out membership or they will not be covered for insurance. Membership of GBCC entitles members to participate in club spins and events, represent the club, purchase club kit, attend and vote at club meetings and join club committees.

To become a member of GBCC you must be a member of Cycling Ireland. Membership of Cycling Ireland provides personal accident and third-party insurance, along with other benefits. Full information on the various benefits of membership can be found at the cycling Ireland website www.cyclingireland.ie  Details of the Cycling Ireland Insurance are available at:  http://www.cyclingireland.ie/page/membership/insurance/insurance-overview
